What Does Cembrus Mean?

Cembrus' name is derived from the Latin name for the "Pinus Cembra," a member of the pine tree family more commonly known as the Swiss Stone Pine. This type of pine tree grows in the Swiss Alps (as well as parts of Central Europe and Asia) and can sustain itself in very rocky and cold terrain. The conifer is considered to be one of the most enduring and beautiful of its species. We adopted the name as a reminder to cultivate financial strength and stay committed to "green" initiatives and the environment.
